Fig. 1 shows a general diagram of the grape seed oil extraction process through the different routes considered in this work. Grape seeds are obtained from a pre-treatment stage of grape pomace where seeds are processed in mills resulting in a suitable biomass for an extraction process (Fiori et al., 2014).
