The extraction of ginger oil from Z. officinale was investigated by Salea, Veriansyah, and Tjandrawinata (2017). The optimum extraction conditions using scCO 2 were 15 MPa, 35°C, and 15 g/min. In this study, the highest oil yield was 3.10%, and the highest content of 6-gingerol in ginger oil was 20.7%.
